Demounts is a Srinagar-based local travel firm operating only for Kashmir, Jammu, and Ladakh. We at Demounts believe in energy, passion, and enthusiasm. The love for our motherland pushes our abilities beyond our capabilities. For us, Kashmir tourism is a bridge that connects the people of the world with the land of Sufis and Saints. Founded in December 2010 by MBA marketing student then, Mohammad Sameem, whose patriotism commenced the young graduate to pursue a career in promoting Kashmir tourism in a new avatar. Helped by his trusted friend Sohail Maqbool, a creative mind and a nature-loving person, Demounts developed into a unique travel port that delivers the best of Kashmir.

Mohammad Sameem

Managing Director

Sameem started Demounts in 2012 during his MBA years in Amity University. A visionary and born entrepreneur, he has been leading Demounts from the front since the very inception. Apart from working relentlessly to offer the best travel solution to Kashmir tourists, he is enthusiastic in overall digital transformation as well as securing a stronger digital presence of his organization.

Junaid Bashir Khan

Tour Sales Consultant

Junid joined Demounts Family in 2019. He comes with 5 years of experience as a Team Leader Sales in Delhi at Unofix Technologies. Moreover he has worked as a Business Development Manager at Winternet IT solutions. Junid has two Bachelors degrees in Commerce (Kashmir University) and in Computer Science (NIELIT) and Masters degree in Commerce from IGNOU.

Inayat Hameed

Senior Sales Executive

Inayat has joined Demounts in 2016 and have been an integral part since. Passionate about his job, he has a Bachelors Degree in Arts as well as a Diploma in Hotel Management. Beside these, he has also completed a crash course in Hotel and Management ans a One Year Diploma in Computer Application.

Mohammad Saqib

Sales Head

Saqib has joined Demounts after finishing his B-Tech from National Institute of technology Srinagar in the year 2014. His goal here is to make the Kashmir Port family reach its true potential and help the guests to create more and more lovely memories.

Javeed Bashir

Sales Manager Ladakh

Javeed is working as Sales Manager Ladakh and is heading Operations & Reservations. He has done his graduation from Govt. Degree College Sopore and have marketing experience of 9 years in Maruti Suzuki and Peaks Auto P. Ltd .
